The ECA Development Team

The Triratna Development Team work on behalf of the European Chairs Assembly (ECA), i.e. the Chairs/Directors of Triratna Buddhist Centres around Europe.

Alongside teaching the Dharma and building a sangha, Chairs have to manage the legislation and regulations, finances and centre team. Our job is to support Chairs to make their roles easier.

On this site we have resources (model policies, guidance on governance, materials for teaching), we run learning networks and a helpdesk. We also support the projects arising out of the ECA’s strategic priorities including work with young people, groups, right livelihood and diversity.

If you have a question and don’t know where to start, write to us at info@triratnadevelopment.org.

Why this matters

Members of the Triratna Buddhist Community talk about the effects that the three jewels of the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha have had on their lives. Explore the Buddha as an inspirational figure, and how that supports our Buddhist Centres to thrive, the Dharma and attitudes to death and dying and what they love and appreciate in the Triratna Sangha.
